Our servers are located in India. Regardless of your location, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed by us in our facilities and in the facilities of the third parties with whom we may share your personal information, including facilities in India and other countries.

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, then these countries may not necessarily have data protection laws or other similar laws as comprehensive as those in your country. However, we will take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law.

14. MathBridge Chrome Extension

Effective Date: October 29, 2025

No Data Collection

The MathBridge Chrome Extension does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal user data. All math conversion (e.g., turning ∫₀¹ x² dx into LaTeX) happens entirely within your browser.

Permissions & Local Storage

MathBridge uses the following browser permissions solely for local functionality:

  • Clipboard: Only when you explicitly copy or paste in the popup.
  • Storage: To save your recent conversions locally (never synced or uploaded).
  • Active Tab & Context Menus: To read selected text on webpages for conversion.

None of this data leaves your device.

15. Creator AI Studio Pro Chrome Extension

Effective Date: October 29, 2025

User-Controlled API Keys

The Creator AI Studio Pro Chrome Extension requires users to provide their own OpenRouter API key to access generative AI features. Ciphemic does not collect, store, or have access to your API keys or the content you generate using them.

How It Works

When you enter a prompt (e.g., for video scripts, hashtags, or hooks), the extension sends your request directly from your browser to the OpenRouter API using the key you provided. The response is displayed in the extension popup. Ciphemic servers are not involved in this process.

Permissions & Local Storage

Creator AI Studio Pro uses the following browser permissions:

  • Storage: To securely save your OpenRouter API key and extension settings locally on your device (never synced or uploaded to Ciphemic servers).
  • Active Tab: To enable content creation features directly on web pages (e.g., generating scripts while on Google Docs).
  • Host Permissions: To communicate with https://*.ciphemic.com/* for extension updates and with OpenRouter (https://openrouter.ai/*) for AI processing.

Data Processing

All AI processing occurs between your browser and OpenRouter's servers. Ciphemic does not log, store, or analyze your prompts, generated content, or API usage. Your data remains under your control.

16. Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (DNT) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected.

At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

If we make material changes to this Privacy Notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification.
